Candidate scorecard

Score professional evidence out of 100. Adjust the weights before searching if the confirmed brief requires it.

Default model

  • Core outcome evidence — 35 points.
    • 35: delivered the same outcome at comparable scope.
    • 22: delivered an adjacent outcome with a clear transfer path.
    • 8: only keyword or title evidence.
  • Must-have capabilities — 25 points.
    • Award proportionally across named must-haves. A missing hard requirement can cap the candidate below Tier 1.
  • Stage and operating-context fit — 15 points.
    • Compare company stage, team size, pace, regulation, and buyer or user context.
  • Scope and seniority fit — 15 points.
    • Compare ownership and leadership shape, not title alone.
  • Career trajectory — 10 points.
    • Reward increasing relevant scope and coherent transitions. Do not reward prestige by itself.

Tier thresholds

  • Tier 1: 75 or above, every hard requirement evidenced, no unresolved contradiction.
  • Tier 2: 60–74, or 75+ with one hard requirement that still needs validation.
  • Tier 3: 45–59 and useful only under a broader thesis.
  • Below 45: exclude.

Required rationale

For each Tier 1 candidate record:

  • strongest outcome evidence;
  • must-have coverage;
  • comparable context;
  • largest unknown;
  • score breakdown;
  • why they rank ahead of the next person.

Keep contactability outside the fit score. A missing phone number does not make someone a weaker candidate.
