Kit rubric
Score the full kit before deciding. Ten criteria, 10 points each.
| # | Criterion | 10 | 7 | 4 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Outcome specificity | 5 to 8 outcomes, all results, measurable, dated, weights sum to 100 | One outcome is an activity or undated | Outcomes are a list of duties |
| 2 | Competency derivation | Every competency traces to an outcome; 4 or fewer critical | Most trace; critical list too long | Competencies chosen first |
| 3 | Deal-breaker clarity | Testable conditions checked before interviews; culture as 4 to 6 behaviors | One vague deal-breaker | "Culture fit" undefined |
| 4 | Interview rigor | All behavioral; 2+ questions per critical competency; failure question asked; both mindset questions scored on pattern; live exercise scored on the delta | One of these missing | Mostly hypothetical; no mindset read; no live exercise |
| 5 | Interviewer independence | Written scores before debrief; disagreements discussed first; referral and sponsor influence named | Scores collected but some after debrief | Group discussion or the sponsor decides |
| 6 | Reference depth | Type 1: 3+, one off-list, one former report; written with quotes | 3 references, all on-list | Fewer than required |
| 7 | Evidence gap honesty | Gaps named with what would change the decision | Gaps named, impact unclear | No gaps listed |
| 8 | Reversibility framing | Class declared with reason; process depth matches | Class declared, depth mismatched | Not declared |
| 9 | Decision logged | Ten-question operating rule answered; date, rationale, "would change my mind" signals, checkpoint; any override recorded | Logged without signals | Not logged |
| 10 | Voice | Operator brief; risks stated plainly; candidate not oversold | Mild overstatement | Reads as a pitch for the candidate |
Ship bars. Type 1: 90 total, every criterion 9 or above. Type 2: 75 total, criteria 1 and 4 at 8 or above.
